The Firefly Bird Flight Diverter deters pest birds from
crops, ponds, aquaculture as well as surrounding structures
in agricultural areas where there are bird problems.
- Firefly affects UV and Visible range of avian vision -360nm/560nm wavelengths.
- Firefly spins and sways in 3mph winds increasing effectiveness.
- Tested and developed by avian biologists.
- Site specific installation hardware (optional) for fields, ponds, fencing and structures.
- Crocodile Clamp allows for straight or 45 degree angled installation.
Target Birds Deterred: All bird species and bats.
Material: Acrylic Plastic 1/8 “, 3” by 5” flapper -impact-resistant and UV-stabilized. (–30 F. to 160 F.) Fluorescent, reflective/luminescent properties produce 10+/- hour glow-in-the dark feature. Stainless Steel Swivel Assembly.
Ease of Installation: Easy. The FireFly bird deterrent is installed using Crocodile Clamp or S Hook from overhead wires or the optional Swivel Brackets.
The Firefly bird control product uses materials that produce an initial light emission of 6 Lumens per cubic meter which reduces to 1 Lumen 1-2 hours after sunset.
Install Bird Diverter Bird Control Products: For bird control around fields, aquaculture fish farms, ponds and other agricultural areas, hang the FireFly bird deterrent from lines, fences and other areas where it can spin and sway in the breeze to reflect sunlight during the day and light at night. For bird control on surrounding buildings, hang the FireFly from building eaves, trees or other areas to catch the breeze and reflect the sunlight to repel problem birds.
How It Works: The FireFly bird diverter incorporates motion, reflectivity, and light emissions to alert the birds to an upcoming obstruction. This bird diverter/flapper swivels and rotates in 3-5 mph wind conditions, increasing visibility to migrating birds with both night and day reflectors.
