Bird Net installations require the same tensioned perimeter support system no matter what attachments are used to connect it to the structure. The cable is attached to the fasteners, then the bird net is attached to the cable with net rings (also known as hog rings) using special tools.

Net Cable
The 5/64" (2mm) diameter, 7x7 construction net cable is the standard for perimeter support. Galvanized cable available, but use stainless steel cable for installations near heavy moisture, chemical environs or salt-laden air. Special order heavier cable (up to 3/4" diameter) for non-suspended runs of 150' or more.

Turnbuckles
Turnbuckles tension cable properly insuring a secure installation. Use small turnbuckle for cable runs under 25', medium for runs 25'-75', & large for runs over 75'. Use galvanized in dry, salt-free climates with galvanized net rings & net cable. Stainless steel is best in wet or salty climates and should be used with stainless steel net rings & cable. 10 per pack.
