The Flex-Track Solar Charger unit runs up to 500 feet of Flex-Track bird deterrent. The solar collector charges a 4v. battery to control birds all day and night. The unit must face due South for maximum charging potential. It sends an intermittent pulse down the Flex-Track bird deterrent every three seconds, conditioning the birds to leave. Unit features positive and negative wing-nut post connections and weatherproof encasement. Flashing light indicates functionality of the system. One year guarantee. Battery needs replacing every two years
