The Eagle Eye is an optical bird scarer that harmlessly deters birds from unwanted areas making use of light beams reflected from direct sunlight or artificial light.The reflective rotates via an electric motor, sending the beams around in a menacing pattern. The light spectrum reflected back by the Eagle Eye disorients birds in flight by limiting their vision significantly. This causes the birds to deviate in flight and fly to another destination.

Powering the Unit
The system works off of 12-volt electrcity from a battery or from a converter plugged into an 100VAC outlet. It can also be powered directly from a solar panel making it adaptable for different locations. 12-volt batteries that are charged by solar collectors can run the unit during the night. A wide variety of bracket and lights are availiable to mount to any surface.

Coverage
The Eagle Eye reflects sunlight back into the direction of the sun, leaving an unprotected area behind the unit. This changes during the day as the sun moves from East to West. Buildings, trees and other obstacles can create shadows as well. To overcome this, multiple untis may be used. Additionally, halogen lamps may need to be mounted above the unit to mimic sunlight.

What to Expect
Results from the Eagle Eye reveal to that the system can be expected to deter a high-percentage of resident birds (fewer if the pressure is heavy); in these cases it should be reinforced with population dispersal, site clean-up, mechanical deterrents and/or fogging. The units may require cleaning and other service so a maintenance contract should be contemplated. Some reflections could irritate people in nearby buildings, deflectors can be installed to reduce this issue.

Each Eagle Eye includes an installation kit with one Eagle Eye Visual Bird detterent Device, one 110VAC to 12vdc power supply, 25 ft. low voltage, direct burial lead out wire. 12 crimp connectors (6 male, 6 female), one surface mounting bracket, one 10" extension support tube, one 16" extension support tube, one 90 degree support tube, four inter-connection (3") tubes, 20 self-tapping joining screws.
